Factory‑grade finish
on every panel we spray.
Our in‑house Schubox® spray booth delivers a flawless, dust‑controlled finish on MDF panels and wall boards, matt, satin, or gloss, colour‑matched to RAL, Dulux or Farrow & Ball, ready to fit straight out of the crate.
Five steps from bare MDF to factory‑ready.
Every panel goes through the same five stages. Nothing clever, just the discipline of doing each one properly, which is what separates a passable finish from a flawless one.
Consultation & Quote
Share panel list, colour and sheen. We quote within one working day, no booking fee.
Prep & Sand
Edges sealed, faces de‑nibbed to 240/320 grit. The invisible step that decides the finish.
Primer Coats
Two coats of water‑based MDF primer, sanded between passes, to lock out fibre bloom.
Booth Spray
HVLP/air‑assisted‑airless spray of 1‑pack paint/primer in our dust‑controlled Schubox® booth.
Cure & Deliver
Heated catalytic cure, inspect, wrap, pallet. On a 48hr mainland delivery van, ready to fit.
Every colour. Three sheens. One consistent finish.
Pick a starting point below. We colour‑match across RAL, Dulux, Farrow & Ball and NCS. Send us a sample and we’ll spray to it.
Pure White
Flat, velvet reflectance. Hides prints and fingers best.
Can’t find your colour? Send a sample chip, RAL reference, or paint tin. We’ll colour‑match and spray to your spec, no extra charge for custom matches.
The kit, the chemistry, and the hands to use them.
Most spraying problems don’t show up on day one, they surface six months in, when the finish yellows, the edge swells, or the lacquer chips on a hinge. We build for the long finish.
Dust‑controlled booth
Our Schubox® booth runs positive‑pressure filtered air. The dust you don’t see is the difference between a good finish and a great one.
Catalytic heat curing
Heated cure cycles drop paint cure times from days to hours, and lock in a harder film than ambient drying can deliver.
1‑pack Durable
The same paint chemistry commercial kitchen fitters specify, wipe‑clean, solvent‑resistant, no yellowing under UV.
Edge‑sealed properly
MDF’s endgrain is where cheap sprayers fail. We seal, sand and re‑seal every cut edge before a single coat of colour goes on.
Any colour, any sheen
RAL, NCS, Dulux, Farrow & Ball or colour‑matched from your sample. Matt, satin or gloss, your call.
Panels up to 3050mm
Our booth and drying racks take full sheets: wall panels, wardrobe backs, shopfit carcasses, no awkward joins mid‑panel.
THE EQUIPMENT
A booth built for MDF, not borrowed from autobody.
Our Schubox® downdraft booth is filtered, pressure-balanced and heated for catalytic curing, the same class of kit used by premium kitchen and shopfit manufacturers.

Built for trade work, open to everyone.
From a one‑off set of kitchen doors to a six‑week shopfit rollout, the booth runs the same standard. Most of what comes through it falls into one of these categories.
The questions trade customers ask first.
Either is fine. If we cut your panels, we quote spraying and cutting together. If you’re supplying your own MDF, we’ll ask for photos and measurements to confirm the material and edge condition before we quote.
Two‑pack polyurethane, the same chemistry specified by commercial kitchen fitters and shopfit contractors. It cures to a hard, wipeable film that resists household solvents and doesn’t yellow under UV. We can do water‑based where project specs require it.
Yes. RAL, NCS, Dulux and Farrow & Ball references are already in our colour system. For anything else, send a physical sample (a paint tin, chip, or offcut) and we’ll colour‑match to it at no extra charge.
Typically 5–10 working days from approved quote to dispatch, depending on panel count and sheen. Heated cure in booth is 24–48 hours; the rest is prep, primer, sanding between coats, and QC.
Primarily flat panels and door fronts. It’s where the finish is most consistent. For small assembled items (shelves, plinths, built‑ins under ~1200mm) get in touch; we’ll assess case by case.
Our booth handles full 3050 × 1220mm MDF sheets without cutting, so wall panels and wardrobe backs go in whole, no mid‑panel joins.
Every sprayed panel is interleaved with foam, stacked, shrink‑wrapped and palletised. Mainland UK delivery is flat £9.99 per order, typically on a 48‑hour service.
